Training Contractor

Contracted Trainers will deliver high-quality professional development aligned with the Appraisal Hub guidance and state requirements. Trainers will facilitate in-person and virtual sessions designed to build evaluator capacity, support instructional leadership, and ensure fidelity to the designed frameworks. This role requires strong facilitation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to educator growth.

Master's degree from accredited institution in education or related field

Current Texas Principal Certificate

Current T-TESS Certification

Current AEL (Advancing Educational Leadership) Certification

Ability to interact with technology efficiently

Ability to articulate content and provide engaging verbal delivery

Recent experience (within the last 7 years) as an effective campus leader in Texas

Experience delivering training effectively to adult audiences

Strong knowledge of education systems in Texas

Strong knowledge of T-TESS rubric and T-TESS process

Knowledge of best practices to engage adult learners

Strong presentation skills

Critical thinking skills

Effective vocal projection for group delivery

Knowledge of effective instructional practices in the classroom setting in order to facilitate discussion

Prepare for training sessions, including reviewing materials and coordinating logistics

Deliver engaging and effective T-TESS training in classroom or virtual settings

Manage the training environment, ensuring participant engagement and addressing needs in real time

Track attendance and maintain accurate records of participant engagement

Follow up on training sessions with required documentation and communication to finalize the process

Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public

Perform other duties as assigned

Meeting deadlines with quick turnaround times and fluctuating timelines

Lifting and carrying (0-30 pounds)

Emotional control, attention to detail

Hearing, speaking, visual acuity

General office equipment, Windows computer and peripherals, audio/visual equipment, and other equipment as requirements change
