St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), invites applications for an adjunct faculty appointment beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach and facilitate the culminating project for the Health Systems and Administration degree, the internship. Internships provide the opportunity to bring together the skills, knowledge and abilities to ready students for next steps after graduation.
Adjunct positions are renewable, contingent upon need and performance. As appropriate to individual contracts, faculty will be expected.

The successful candidate will facilitate student didactic and active learning in their health administration internships. This course involves teaching professionalism and career ready skills through regular teaching/learning across the internship semester. This is a 3-credit course.
QualificationsFor consideration, a candidate must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in the health professions. Healthcare professionals (OTD, DPT, MPA, MSN) are encouraged to apply. Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:
Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses, as well as support a diverse student body.
- Delivery of course content to align with the Health Systems and Administration program requirements.
- Collaborate with health sciences faculty for alignment of student learning.
- Collaborate with the instructional design team for course material development.
- Maintains subject specific competency and knowledge.
- Help the students to acquire appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of healthcare professionals.
- Maintains grade record for all assigned students.
- Maintains student information in a confidential manner.
