Job Description SummaryResponsible for preparing and delivering International Business coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties- Prepare and teach courses in Logistics and Supply Chain Management for the Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Applied Technology programs.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies appropriate to community college students and discipline standards.
- Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes.
- Provide teaching and mentoring services to students in a nondiscriminatory manner.
- Remain current in the field through professional development activities.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by department leadership.
- Complete required trainings and attend meetings.
- Volunteer to serve on faculty committees as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications and online resources for the classroom.
- Use the learning management system (e.g., Blackboard) to develop and manage course content.
- Appropriate use of the college's learning management system.
- Meet deadlines for attendance certification and final grade submission.
- Participate in graduation, general assembly, and other official college functions.
- Maintain regular office hours to assist students and improve retention.
- Participate in campus activities and meetings.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent with 18 graduate hours in SCM, logistics, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum five years of recent, high-level professional experience in a managerial or leadership role within the supply chain field.
- Multicultural teaching experience and ability to instruct a diverse student body.
- Experience working within workforce‑focused programs (curriculum development, program review, assessment of learning outcomes).
- Strong technical skills with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and data analysis tools.
- Strong oral and written communication, leadership, teamwork, analytical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Commitment to ACC’s culture of care and student success.

- Participation in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and the Optional Retirement Program (Faculty and Administrators only).
