Position
Purpose:
The Senior Academic Program Coordinator develops, coordinates and advises for engineering study abroad programs.
- Coordinates faculty-led programs including:
- Program development, budgeting and contract processing
- Program promotion and recruiting
- Program-specific student advising and pre‑departures, and support throughout the program
- Faculty and TA advising, pre‑departures and support during the program
- Program assessment
- Logistics and support coordination with onsite providers and/or onsite as needed
- Assists office director and faculty with:
- Faculty program proposal and workshop development
- Pilot program development and reconnaissance site visits
- Collaboration with the team on various projects
- Other related functions as assigned
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of experience coordinating study abroad programs.
- Experience studying or working on site or abroad.
- Masters in a related field.
- More than five years of experience working or studying abroad in and outside of Western Europe.
- Experience working with faculty-led programs in a university environment.
- Demonstrated interest in student development.
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- Work is performed in a standard office environment.
- Repetitive use of keyboard at workstation.
- Work outside of regular business hours is required on a periodic basis, including evenings and weekends.
- Travel may be required on a periodic basis.
- Standard business hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Periodic work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
