Job Details

Position

Purpose:

The Senior Academic Program Coordinator develops, coordinates and advises for engineering study abroad programs.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates faculty-led programs including:
    • Program development, budgeting and contract processing
    • Program promotion and recruiting
    • Program-specific student advising and pre‑departures, and support throughout the program
    • Faculty and TA advising, pre‑departures and support during the program
    • Program assessment
    • Logistics and support coordination with onsite providers and/or onsite as needed
  • Assists office director and faculty with:
    • Faculty program proposal and workshop development
    • Pilot program development and reconnaissance site visits
    • Collaboration with the team on various projects
  • Other related functions as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of experience coordinating study abroad programs.
  • Experience studying or working on site or abroad.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in a related field.
  • More than five years of experience working or studying abroad in and outside of Western Europe.
  • Experience working with faculty-led programs in a university environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in student development.
Salary Range

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment.
  • Repetitive use of keyboard at workstation.
  • Work outside of regular business hours is required on a periodic basis, including evenings and weekends.
  • Travel may be required on a periodic basis.
Work Shift
  • Standard business hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Periodic work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
