Senior Academic Program Coordinator, International Engineering Education
Position within the Cockrell School of Engineering, University of Texas role focuses on developing, coordinating, and advising for engineering study abroad programs.
Responsibilities- Coordinates faculty‑led programs including:
- Program development, budgeting and contract processing
- Program promotion and recruiting
- Program‑specific student advising and pre‑departure support throughout the program
- Faculty and TA advising and pre‑departure support during the program
- Program assessment
- Logistics and support coordination with onsite providers and/or onsite when needed
- Assists office director and faculty with:
- Faculty program proposal and workshop development
- Pilot program development and reconnaissance site visits
- Collaboration with the team on various projects
- Other related functions as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of experience coordinating study abroad programs
- Experience studying or working on site or abroad
- Master’s in a related field
- More than five years of experience working or studying abroad in and outside of Western Europe
- Experience working with faculty‑led programs in a university environment
- Demonstrated interest in student development
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions- Work is performed in a standard office environment
- Repetitive use of keyboard at workstation
- Work outside of regular business hours is required periodically, including evenings and weekends
- Travel may be required periodically
- Standard business hours Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Periodic work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required
