Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver Spanish coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways
- Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback
- Provide teaching and mentoring services to a multicultural student population
- Remain current in the field through professional development activities
- Comply with college policies and procedures
- Master’s degree in Spanish or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Spanish
- Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and technology in the classroom
- Experience teaching Dual Credit courses to high school students
- Understanding of culturally responsive teaching and knowledge of the teaching field
