Position Title: Primary Lead Guide
Job DescriptionThe Little Blue Montessori School, a neighborhood school in Southeast Austin, is now accepting applications for an experienced Montessori Primary Lead Guide for the school year. We are looking for applicants who are creative, collaborative, great communicators, as well as eager to share Montessori with families new to this pedagogy and way of life. Responsibilities- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom community
- Observe and assess children's development and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Collaborate with other Guides and staff members
- Experience as a Montessori Primary Lead Guide
- Ability to create a nurturing environment and implement Montessori curriculum
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Strong communication with parents and families
- Collaborative mindset to work with other Guides and staff
- Commitment to safety and a clean classroom environment
