Location: Austin, TX
PurposeAs the School of Civic Leadership is an interdisciplinary unit, it seeks Teaching Assistants across a variety of academic fields including but not limited to:
Government/Political Science, History, Economics, Business, Statistics, Philosophy, and related fields.
- Assist with grading of assignments such as projects, exams, and essays.
- Host office hours.
- Facilitate intellectual discussion sessions.
- Monitor and track attendance, uphold attendance policy.
- Proctor exams.
- Carry out additional academic administrative duties as assigned by instructor.
- Current graduate student in Government/Political Science, History, Economics, Business, Statistics, Philosophy or a related field.
- Must be in good academic standing.
$4,205 monthly (equivalent to a 40‑hour work week; prorated for 10‑20 hour work week).
