Instructional Support Specialist – Biology Instructional Office
Position:
Instructional Support Specialist (Teaching Assistant) for undergraduate biology courses in the College of Natural Sciences. The role will serve as a support faculty member, assisting with course instruction and student engagement.
Scope of Work:
- Act as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses; may be assigned to one or more courses in Biology Instruction Office, Molecular Biology, Integrative Biology, and Neuroscience.
- Assist with instruction, grading, lab facilitation, and student support as directed by the course instructor.
- Attend required course meetings and maintain up-to-date understanding of course content.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment or recent graduation with a strong background in biology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students.
Employment Information: Part‑time or full‑time positions offered on a semester basis. Weekly scheduled hours: 40 (full‑time).
Location:
UT Main Campus.
