ATSEM H/F

Under the authority of the EJS Manager, and under the functional management of the School Director, the ATSEM H/F assists teaching staff for the reception, animation, and hygiene of very young children, prepares and cleans the premises and the equipment used directly by the children. As a member of the educational community, he/she may be responsible for the supervision of very young children in the canteens.

Main duties:

• Welcome children under the control of the teacher
• Supervise the safety and hygiene of children
• Prepare the activity material
• Participate in different activities and pedagogical animations
• Prepare and participate in the surveillance of the dormitory
• Assist the child during the meal time
• Accompany the children to the nap
• Clean the school premises (cleaning the classroom, common areas, educational material...)

Secondary duties:

• Supervision of children during the midday break under the responsibility of the peri-school reference
• Supervision and animation during breaks

Working conditions:

Permanent employment full-time Monday to Friday, 35 annual weekly hours

Statutory remuneration + indemnity regime + quarterly bonus + CNAS

Candidate profile:

• CAP Early Childhood or AEPE diploma
• Holder of the ATSEM competition

KNOWLEDGE:

• Enable the development of the child from 2 years old (motor, socio-affective and cognitive abilities)
• Respect the basic principles of hygiene and safety
• Favor the awakening of children by proposing with the teacher games techniques and educational projects
• Perfectly master the techniques of use of phytosanitary products

• Accompany the child in his daily learning
• Help in the acquisition of autonomy
• Ensure the safety of children
• Apply the rules of hygiene and safety
• Implement games techniques and activities
• Maintain and check the premises and the equipment provided to the children

Art. L332-8 provision 2 of the general code of public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
