Job Description SummaryAssist the CE instructor in delivering hands‑on training and support for the CNC Technician Training Program.
Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Teaching Assistant for the Continuing Education (CE) CNC Technician Training Program. In this role, you will support the instructor in delivering high‑quality CNC training to students, helping them develop the skills needed for success in machining and manufacturing careers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the instructor during class sessions by providing hands‑on support to students with CNC equipment, tools, and exercises.
- Help set up and maintain CNC machines and training materials.
- Answer student questions and provide guidance during lab exercises and projects.
- Ensure the classroom and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for use.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the instructor on areas where additional support may be needed.
- Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards in the classroom and lab environment.
- Previous experience with CNC machining, tools, and equipment is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience in a teaching or mentoring role is a plus but not required.
