Floating Substitute Teacher
The Floating Substitute Teacher plays a vital role in supporting classrooms across all Child Inc. centers. This position temporarily fills in for teachers or teacher assistants, ensuring that children receive consistent, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
You will help implement curriculum, maintain safe and engaging environments, and support the overall health, safety, and growth of children ages infant through 5 years.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Infant/Toddler CDA or Preschool CDA (or willingness to earn within 12 months of employment).
- At least 3 months of experience working with children (infant–5 years).
- Ability to work at multiple Child Inc. centers as assigned.
- Basic computer skills.
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Must pass physical exam, TB test, and all background checks.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and engaging at children's level.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (children and classroom materials).
- Exposure to typical childcare settings (indoor/outdoor, weather variations).
- Occasional in-area and out-of-area travel for training or support.
