Position details:

Job type:
Part-time, non-exempt, seasonal (August 2026-May 2027).

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 6:00 pm (required).

Start date:

Mid-August 2026.

Location:

On-site at Austin ISD elementary schools.

We partner with Austin ISD to provide after school care on-site at 11 elementary schools in the southwest Austin area.

Job duties include:

• Teachers actively supervise planned activity centers, free play, and facilitate games that emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Our teachers lead engaging activities that allow students to both explore new talents and build on known skills. Activities include but are not limited to sports, arts and crafts, painting, science and engineering, gym games, sewing, and cooking!
• Provide mentorship to the students and foster positive relationships with students and parents.
• Serve as a teacher and positive role model to the students.
• Ensure the health and safety of the students at all times, and compliance with licensing rules and regulations.

What we're looking for:

• Required:
  
  High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: 1+ years of work experience or experience working with children.
• Required:
  
  Ability to work 5 days per week, M-F 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus!
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and be able to stand and be physically active for long periods of time.
• Joy for children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
• Candidates must meet all TDFPS requirements, have reliable transportation, and be dedicated and very dependable.
• Must pass a state-run criminal background check before starting employment.
