Program Manager, Alpha - $150,000​/year USD

Traditional elementary schools reduce expectations when students fall behind. You do the opposite. You know that a six-year-old can achieve far more than conventional classrooms demand, and you have leveraged data to demonstrate this repeatedly.

Alpha operates on a two-hour learning framework. Adaptive applications handle academic instruction each morning, freeing your schedule for the efforts that truly transform a child's trajectory: building motivation, teaching life skills, providing coaching, and establishing accountability. You directly manage a cohort of K-3 learners while mentoring the Guides (Alpha's designation for the adults who coach and motivate students) who oversee their daily advancement.

You remain actively engaged each day rather than supervising from a removed office.

Your typical day rotates through three core activities. You analyze performance metrics and Coachbot analytics to identify students and Guides who need support. You conduct coaching sessions that equip people with concrete next actions rather than general encouragement. And you command the focus of a room filled with five- to nine-year-olds during workshops addressing public speaking, concentration, or feedback exchange.

When you identify effective methods, you document them. The frameworks you create establish the benchmark that all other Guides follow, expanding your influence from a single cohort to the entire level. Demonstrating your ability to replicate that quality is the pathway to greater leadership responsibility here.

• Mentoring Guides and students through performance metrics, classroom observation, and clear feedback, then maintaining accountability to quantifiable objectives for both groups
• Leading one-hour interactive workshops for K-3 students covering life skills including public speaking, concentration, teamwork, resilience, accountability, and feedback practices
• Conducting individual and small-group sessions that align each child's aspirations and interests with tangible academic advancement
• Developing and improving playbooks that transform your most effective approaches into replicable systems other Guides can implement reliably
• Educating Guides on these playbooks and demonstrating facilitation excellence to maintain standards as the team expands

• Providing academic instruction or lecturing in front of the classroom; adaptive applications handle content delivery while you coach individuals
• Reducing expectations when students encounter difficulty
• Managing from afar in the manner of instructional coaches and principals; you remain directly involved with your cohort every day
• Managing the full campus budget, operations, and parent communications; a Campus Lead handles those responsibilities so you can concentrate on student and Guide performance
• Advocating for traditional teaching approaches or adhering to a standard K-12 curriculum

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years working with elementary-aged children (approximately ages 5 to
  9)
• Experience managing a team of 5 or more individuals, including responsibility for hiring and performance-based removal decisions
• Experience creating, launching, or substantially expanding a program, team, school, or initiative from inception, not taking over an established one
• Comfortable operating in a school environment that rejects conventional teaching methods
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
