Traditional elementary schools reduce expectations when children face challenges. You do the opposite. You understand that six-year-olds are capable of significantly more than conventional classrooms demand, and you have demonstrated this with data on multiple occasions.

Alpha operates on a two-hour learning framework. Morning academics are delivered through adaptive applications, freeing your schedule for the work that truly transforms a child's trajectory: coaching, motivation, accountability, and life skills development. You directly lead a cohort of K-3 students while also coaching the Guides (Alpha's name for the adults who inspire and coach children) who manage their day-to-day growth.

Your work remains hands-on daily, not administrative from a separate office.

A typical day rotates among three activities. You analyze performance data and Coachbot analytics to identify which Guides and students need intervention. You conduct coaching sessions that conclude with concrete next steps rather than generic praise. And you lead workshops for groups of five-to-nine-year-olds on topics like focus, public speaking, or how to give and receive feedback.

When you identify effective methods, you document them. The playbooks you create become the standard that all other Guides follow, expanding your influence from a single cohort to the entire level. Demonstrating your ability to scale that excellence is the path to greater leadership responsibility here.

If you view lowering expectations as compassionate, this role is not for you. If you view raising them as respectful, we encourage you to apply.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Using performance data, classroom observation, and direct feedback to coach both Guides and students, then holding each accountable to quantifiable goals
  • Leading one-hour live workshops for K-3 students on life skills including focus, public speaking, resilience, collaboration, accountability, and feedback exchange
  • Conducting individual and small-group motivation sessions that align each child's interests and goals with concrete academic progress
  • Creating and refining playbooks that convert your most effective practices into repeatable systems that other Guides can implement reliably
  • Training Guides on these playbooks and demonstrating excellence in facilitation to maintain standards as the team expands
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Teaching academic content or lecturing from the front of the classroom; adaptive apps handle instruction while you coach people
  • Reducing expectations when students encounter difficulty
  • Managing remotely the way instructional coaches and principals typically do; you remain embedded with your cohort each day
  • Managing the entire campus budget, operations, and parent communications; a Campus Lead handles those responsibilities so you can concentrate on Guide and student outcomes
  • Advocating for traditional teaching approaches or adhering to a standard K-12 curriculum
