Youth Development, Career & Life Skills Coaching, Tutoring, Training Instructor / Specialist
You have accomplished difficult things. You have operated within authentic standards. You understand the gap between attempting and delivering. If you are ready to apply that capability where it reshapes a student's future, this position is designed for you. Alpha School leverages AI-driven 1:1 instruction so students complete core academics in roughly two hours daily. This structure opens the remainder of the day for life skills, self-directed projects, and meaningful development.
At our most demanding campuses, students require more than oversight. They need a credible mentor who can assess the environment, establish expectations, and guide them through friction, distraction, and uncertainty. This is not a conventional teaching position. You will not deliver lectures, assign grades, or develop curriculum. You will coach. You will facilitate structured life-skills workshops. You will interpret data to identify what limits a student's progress, then challenge them with intention and precision until they execute.
If you hold an elite credential and a history of elevating others' performance, we are interested in speaking with you.
- Facilitate 1:1 and small-group coaching conversations that convert student objectives into reliable execution and trackable outcomes
- Apply analytics and student objectives to identify obstacles and establish ambitious, tailored motivation strategies
- Conduct structured life-skills workshops through authentic storytelling, guided reflection, and practical application, then evaluate competency
- Direct daily opening sessions that establish culture, uphold high expectations, and prepare students before work begins
- Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families by maintaining high standards, consistency, and disciplined judgment
- Deliver classroom instruction, present lectures, or provide tutoring in a traditional capacity
- Develop curriculum, produce lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments
- Supervise adults, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership responsibilities
- Reduce standards to secure short-term compliance or superficial progress
