Senior Academic Program Coordinator
Provide leadership and oversight of student transition initiatives in the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) within the College of Liberal Arts (CoLA). Develop, plan, and implement student programming, including first-year and transfer orientation, first-year experiences, and other initiatives. Work collaboratively with the OSE team as well as partners and stakeholders in CoLA and across UT. This position will report to the Director of Student Engagement and Strategic Initiatives in Liberal Arts Student Affairs and will supervise professional staff within OSE.
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional experience in student advising/support programming or Master's Degree and 3 years of professional experience in student advising/support programming;
Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating student development programs;
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills;
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently;
Demonstrated collaboration skills with many different units. The ideal candidate should be innovative, show initiative, demonstrate skills for anticipating changing priorities, and respond effectively to feedback. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
$54,000 + depending on qualifications
