About the Assessment and Evaluation Faculty PositionThe Assessment and Evaluation faculty member contributes to theschool's methodology and strategy for assisting in designing,implementing, and sustaining robust assessment systems and continuous quality improvement processes across the medical education program. This role will also contribute to student assessment support and medical education scholarship.
Core responsibilities include:
Program Evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement:- Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting ofquantitative and qualitative program evaluation data. Assist withmaintaining archived evaluation data.
- Collaborate with IT team to develop and implement evaluationdashboards to support program evaluation and decision making.
- Maintain and advance accreditation standards set by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Ensure that programmatic evaluation, student and learningassessment, and outcomes data are collected, analyzed, interpreted,and acted upon in a rigorous, systematic, and evidence-basedmanner.
- Work collaboratively with faculty, academic leadership, and institutional research offices to foster a culture of data-informed decision-making and continuous educational excellence.
- Assist in the analysis and reporting of student performance onstandardized and local assessments to guide quality improvementprocesses.
- Review formative and summative assessment methods.
- Collaborate with faculty on the initiation of novel student assessment methods aligned with learning objectives.
- Collaborate with IT team to develop and implement learnerdashboards to support monitoring of learning outcomes and individual student reflection on learning over time.
- Assist with medical education research projects and producescholarly presentations and publications.
- Assist with the consultation and collaboration process for supporting faculty, staff and students in engaging in educational scholarship (e.g., resources in research design, sampling, IRBprocedures, data collection, analysis, and dissemination).
- Support collaborative research projects across departments and institutions.
- Assist in compiling an annual scholarship and research reportfor the Department of Medical Education.
