After School Teacher

Kinder Care seeks an After School Teacher at KIPP Paseo Primary School to support K-5 students in a safe, engaging after-school program. In this role, you will lead small-group activities, homework support, and enrichment projects that build social-emotional and academic skills. You will maintain a positive, inclusive classroom, communicate regularly with families and school staff, and follow all safety and reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage K-5 students in a safe after-school environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate academic and enrichment activities
• Provide homework help and academic support
• Promote positive behavior and social-emotional skill development
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff about student progress
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Set up, organize, and clean learning spaces and materials
• Support inclusion and respect for diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
