This full-time, on-site Math Teacher role is based at an Austin ISD campus in Austin, TX. The Math Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess mathematics instruction aligned with district curriculum and state standards for assigned grade levels. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, facilitating engaging classroom activities, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and using data to monitor and support student progress.

The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in professional learning, communicating regularly with families and guardians, and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom environment. The Math Teacher will also support campus initiatives, adhere to district policies, and contribute to a positive school culture focused on student achievement.

• Candidates should possess strong content knowledge in Mathematics and Mathematics Education

• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design effective instructional experiences.
• Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with appropriate state certification or licensure in mathematics or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree is beneficial.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and commitment to equitable, inclusive instructional practices.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented school environment.
