Educational Diagnostician
Location:
Austin, Texas
Employment Type:

The Educational Diagnostician supports Elgin ISD students by delivering high-quality educational or related services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in ARD/IEP processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs).
- Administer academic and cognitive assessments.
- Determine eligibility for special education.
- Prepare evaluation reports.
- Participate in ARD meetings.
- Consult with educators and families.
- Maintain documentation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support student success.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Master's degree with Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- School district experience.
- Knowledge of IDEA and Section 504.
- Excellent assessment skills.
