Field Training & Operations Coach
Training & Development
Austin, TX $55k–$65k/yr Full-time
The OpportunityStress-Free Auto Care is growing, and we are looking for a people-first Field Training & Operations Coach to help General Managers, Assistant General Managers, and Service Advisors succeed.
This is a field-based role for someone who thrives on helping others learn, build confidence, and improve. You will support teams—particularly new leaders coming from outside the automotive industry—as they learn our operating practices, customer experience, and service-advisor approach.
You do not need to be an automotive expert on day one. You do need to be curious, dependable, humble, organized, and eager to learn our business from the ground up.
This is not a traditional corporate trainer role. You will spend meaningful time in the field, build relationships with shop teams, listen before making recommendations, and provide practical coaching that helps people succeed.
Culture Comes FirstThe Field Training & Operations Coach must genuinely live and breathe the Stress-Free Auto Care culture.
At SFAC, we believe customer trust is earned through transparency, care, education, and consistently doing the right thing. This person will not simply teach procedures or present training materials—they will model the behaviors, attitude, and customer-first mindset that define the Stress-Free Auto Care experience.
Effective field coaching begins with trust. You will earn credibility by being present, approachable, respectful of the realities of the shop environment, and committed to helping—not judging—our teams.
You will help ensure that our GMs, AGMs, and Service Advisors understand that great service advising is not hard selling. It is listening to the customer, educating them clearly, making honest recommendations, and helping them make informed decisions about their vehicle.
What You'll Do- Facilitate and continuously improve onboarding for new General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Managers In Training (MIT) and Service Advisors.

- Support consistent use of operating procedures and help make processes simple, clear, and easy to follow.
- Gather feedback from trainees and field leaders and recommend improvements to onboarding, training materials, and field support.
- Track training completion and effectiveness through feedback, observation, assessments, and relevant performance indicators.
- Serve as a constructive bridge between the field and leadership by sharing what is working, where teams need support, and where processes can improve.
- New GMs, AGMs, and Service Advisors feel welcomed, supported, and prepared to succeed.
- Shop teams trust you as a coach and partner—not as someone from "corporate" who comes in to criticize.
- Training is practical, clear, relevant, and consistently applied across locations.
- Service Advisors gain confidence making honest, customer-focused recommendations.
- Leaders and team members understand how their daily behaviors support the Stress-Free Auto Care culture.
