DescriptionThe Department of Special Education in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin periodically hires professionaltrack full-time and part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Special Education. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and theavailabilityof funding. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a year-longappointment can be made. Salary and title are dependent upon responsibilities and qualifications.
These are non-tenure track positions.

QualificationsA master's degree is required; doctoral degree is preferred for all positions and required for graduate teaching assignments.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and astudent-centered approach to teaching.
