Summary:
To provide leadership in the planning and operations of Staff Development for the School of College Readiness. This is a grant funded position.
Job Description Description of Duties and Tasks- Coordinates the monitoring of training records of instructors, staff, and consortium members to ensure annual PD requirements are met.
- Coordinates training for new instructors including the New Instructor Orientation and assists with ongoing mentoring, training, and support of new instructors and other instructors as needed.
- Maintains and updates the faculty handbook, the professional development section of the faculty/staff website and the professional development calendar.
- Assists with the logistics of scheduling and implementation of training sessions and professional development events. Coordinates recruitment and registration for these events. Also provides support to the Adult Education staff development supervisor and trainers during professional development events.
- Develops and presents workshops and conducts other training as needed.
- Assists in the development and revision of forms, surveys, and documents; helps compile data and prepare reports to include the PD Continuous Improvement Plan and follow up.
- Create, edit, and develop online professional development workshops for recorded credit.
- Helps maintain and update database information.
- Coordinates and trains consortium members for professional development requirements and provides TEAMS training
- Creates instructional materials and resources for substitutes and teachers.
- Participates in instructor recruitment, interview, and selection processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned
