Onsite in Austin, Texas

We are hiring part-time instructors for Elementary, Middle School, and High School/SAT levels. You may apply for one level or several depending on your expertise. Classes run small (1:1 to 1:4), and every student follows an individualized plan you help build.

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of tutoring experience
• Strong command of the subject(s) you apply for
• For SAT instruction: 1500+ total or 750+ on the relevant section (score report required)
• Available for at least two weekday evening blocks or the Saturday block
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Degree in English, Math, Education, STEM, or a related field
• Experience with test prep, curriculum design, or progress reporting
• Familiarity with Notion and Google Workspace (Calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets)

• SAT Reading and Writing
• SAT Math
• Pre-SAT and High School English (grammar, reading, essay writing)
• Elementary English
• Elementary Math

• Deliver structured lessons based on each student's individualized learning plan
• For SAT: teach test-taking strategy (time management, process of elimination, trap identification) and content review
• For math: build mastery of core concepts from Pre-Algebra through Calculus, adjusting pace to the student
• For English: develop reading, grammar, and writing skills through structured practice
• Write brief progress reports after each session covering academic progress, learning habits, and areas for improvement for parent updates
• Mentor students on study habits, ownership, and college readiness
• Answer student questions on curriculum and course sequencing
• Complete documentation and other duties as assigned

• Weekdays: sessions fall between 6 pm and 10 pm
• Saturdays: sessions fall between 2 pm and 6 pm
• Immediate start, rolling hiring
• Typical load 6 to 15 hours per week depending on availability and student demand

• $25+ per hour depending on experience and subject
