Job Title: Drone Support Engineer II
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $30.00 / hour on Experis W2
What's the Job?- Assist in the development and testing of advanced safety‑related technologies for aerospace and drone applications.
- Participate in mission planning and perform lightweight maintenance duties to ensure operational readiness.
- Conduct logistics planning and support activities to facilitate project success.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to innovate and improve safety protocols and procedures.
- Support research initiatives by conducting limited operation readiness activities and data collection.
- Possession of a 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and aeronautical knowledge.
- At least 2 years of remote‑control pilot experience with excellent coordination skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including graveyard shifts, and travel up to 75% of the year.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driver eligibility criteria.
