Project Engineer – Heavy Highway / Civil
Location:
Austin, Texas
Our client, a national Heavy Highway General Contractor, is currently recruiting for a 2-Year Project Engineer to support heavy highway and civil construction projects in the Austin area.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required
- 2+ years of experience in Heavy Highway / Civil construction
- Strong ability to prioritize with a detail-oriented mindset
- Assist and act as a liaison between subcontractors, superintendents, and foremen
- Support preparation of project cost reports and pay estimates
- Assist with CPM scheduling
- Manage and track submittals and RFIs
- Support day-to-day project coordination and documentation
- Grading and paving
- Bridge construction
- Retaining walls
- Drainage systems
- Advancement opportunities available
- Base salary starting at $85,000, dependent on experience
