Senior Quality Engineer

Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Lean and Continuous Improvement to join our team. This role will focus on driving process improvements, mentoring lean practitioners, and supporting compliance with AS9100 standards while collaborating across multiple departments.

• Identify and address improvement opportunities; develop root cause countermeasures.
• Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and projects to drive business results.
• Mentor and develop potential lean practitioner candidates through projects and events.
• Develop and execute Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Align lean activities with organizational goals, metrics, and business strategy.
• Provide leadership with guidance on Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead employee development training in Lean and Six Sigma.
• Perform machine capability (CmK) and test equipment capability (GR&R) studies using statistical software.
• Support internal, external, and AS9100 quality audits.
• Assist in developing and implementing performance metrics.
• Support other QA duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or related field preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous quality improvement activities.
• Hands‑on experience with AS9100 compliance.
• Demonstrated history of leading Kaizen events to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

• Manufacturing experience in aerospace or electronics industry.
• AS9100 / ISO 9000 Auditor Certification.
