* For more details, please see  and   andMust be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.## Purpose The Texas Institute for Electronics is looking for a Facilities Electrical Engineer to support the startup, operation, and maintenance of fab facility electrical infrastructure. This position is responsible for overseeing the safe startup and operation of various electrical systems for our semiconductor manufacturing and test facilities across two work sites.##

Responsibilities
* Evaluate, design, operate, and maintain electrical systems supporting semiconductor fabrication and test facilities.
* Ensure the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
* Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to align utility system performance with production needs and efficiency goals.
* Lead and support capital projects involving electrical infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
* Provide technical expertise during design reviews, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of facility systems.
* Monitor and analyze system performance to identify opportunities for energy savings and resource optimization.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, as well as internal safety and operational standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built drawings, specifications, and maintenance records.
* Other related functions as assigned.##
