Role Overview
You will be the single point of contact for production issues impacting operations, member portals, or backend APIs, and you will coordinate production releases across multiple stakeholders. By quickly fixing recurring and high-priority bugs, maintaining the release pipeline, and ensuring safe deployments, you will directly improve the productivity of both our operations and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, triage, and resolve bugs affecting production systems, with a focus on issues impacting the operations team and member experience.
- Monitor bug tracking systems, identify recurring production issues, and prioritize fixes to reduce disruptions.
- Act as release manager: coordinate merges, verify readiness across developer stakeholders, and oversee data migrations before and after deployments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the release pipeline to minimize downtime and unblock developers.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and quick turnaround on production issues.
- Improve monitoring, testing, and incident documentation to prevent repeat issues and reduce production risk.
Role Requirements
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across backend systems.
- Ability to architect solutions that fix root causes, not just symptoms.

QL experience a plus. - Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of secure methods for transmission, storage, and management of user data.
