Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Senior Dam Safety Engineer with expertise in one or more disciplines related to dam engineering (i.e. hydrology, hydraulics; geotechnical engineering; or structural engineering) and practical experience (>10-yrs) in design and construction of embankment dams, concrete dams, and hydraulic structures to support our growing business in Texas.

In Texas, Schnabel focuses primarily on the inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation design and construction of existing dams and hydraulic structures, as well as risk informed decision making for a variety of public and private clients. This position offers a combination of technical work and management responsibilities.

• Provide engineering expertise, technical oversight and overall management of dam engineering projects. Typical projects include dam safety inspections, risk assessments, geotechnical investigations and analysis, seepage and slope stability analysis, structural analysis and design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, dam upgrading design, bid support, construction contract administration
