Position: Structural Engineer (Buildings) 10-15 years

Leading multidisciplinary design and engineering firm is seeking a Structural Professional Engineer to take a key role in delivering innovative, cost‑effective, and constructible solutions for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. This position partners closely with integrated architectural and MEP teams to support high‑quality project delivery and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

The organization is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the region, with multiple office locations across the Southwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering plans, reports, calculations, and technical studies.
  • Direct technicians and EITs to produce accurate and efficient engineering documents for routine projects.
  • Interface with clients in coordination with Project Managers when appropriate.
  • Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and assess conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Research and apply relevant design criteria, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Mentor junior staff in the effective use of structural design software.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficiency with Revit/BIM platforms preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of structural building design experience in a consulting environment.
