The Senior Failure Analysis Lab Technician will run and maintain failure analysis equipment and provide F/A results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Run dual-beam FIBs and SEM/X‑Ray data collection with complementary surface science analytical tool operations.
- Perform detailed sample preparation to enable feature measurements, defect detection and domain‑specific failure analysis.
- Present results, compile reports and work in a team incorporating feedback from engineers and other technicians.
- Develop processes‑of‑record and implement these on product samples for customers.
- Perform other related functions as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Eight years experience in sample preparation and failure analysis techniques.
- Goal‑oriented and ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Associate's degree or higher degree in science, engineering or other relevant disciplines.
- Ten years experience in sample preparation and failure analysis techniques.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment and processes.
- Experience in a research or start‑up environment.
