Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineer, Aerospace / Aviation / Avionics
Overview
You will join as an Engineering Manager, Antenna & Satellite Systems
, leading multidisciplinary teams developing advanced antenna architectures, RF front-end systems, and satellite communication subsystems.
In this role, you will guide the technical direction of antenna design, RF electronics, and satellite payload integration, ensuring systems meet stringent performance, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine influence. You will shape system architecture, review electromagnetic and RF designs, support environmental and system validation, and define engineering standards for space-ready hardware.
One week, you may be reviewing phased-array beamforming performance and EM simulation results; the next, you may be overseeing RF chain validation, satellite subsystem integration, or field testing of ground terminals.
Your Responsibilities- Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of 8–10 RF, antenna, and embedded engineers
- Driving architecture and design for antenna systems (phased arrays, high-gain antennas, or deployable space antennas)
- Overseeing RF front-end development, including amplifiers, filters, matching networks, and transceiver integration
- Guiding development from concept and simulation through prototyping, environmental testing, and deployment
- Supporting satellite payload integration and system-level verification
- Partnering with product and executive leadership on technical strategy and roadmap planning
- Establishing best practices around RF performance, EMC/EMI compliance, thermal management, and reliability
- Remaining technically engaged while enabling your team to deliver high-performance systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in RF systems, antenna design, satellite communications, or space hardware development
- Proven experience leading engineering teams (typically 8–10 engineers)
- Strong background in antenna theory, electromagnetic simulation, and RF system design
- Experience with phased arrays, beam steering, high-frequency (L/S/X/Ka-band) systems, or satellite payload electronics
- Familiarity with space qualification standards, environmental testing (vibration, thermal vacuum), and high-reliability design
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, RF measurement (VNA, spectrum analysis), and system validation
- Comfortable leading cross-functional teams spanning RF hardware, embedded firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering
