Primary Services is excited to announce the Asset Management Specialist role at a large, well-established organization in the renewable energy sector. This position plays a critical role in supporting utility-scale power plant operations by ensuring the integrity, structure, and performance of SCADA and asset performance management data systems. The selected candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and IT stakeholders to onboard, validate, and optimize plant technical data across multiple renewable facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, and organize site technical documentation for onboarding into the asset performance management (APM) platform.
  • Translate system layouts, metering configurations, telemetry signals, and naming conventions into structured platform documentation.
  • Validate completeness and accuracy of technical data within the APM system.
  • Develop comprehensive Site Configuration Packages including asset hierarchy, equipment inventory, asset tag lists, and alarm definitions.
  • Review SCADA signal lists and telemetry mappings to identify missing, incorrect, or misconfigured data points.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on onboarded data streams to ensure integrity and compliance with performance reporting standards.
  • Align SCADA data architecture with single-line diagrams and as-built plant layouts.
  • Track onboarding milestones, risks, and delays, and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to plant monitoring, analytics, and reporting systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SCADA systems, renewable energy plant operations, or similar industrial control environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and as-built documentation for utility-scale power plants.
  • Experience configuring or validating telemetry signals, metering points, and alarm mappings.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience onboarding data into monitoring, analytics, KPI-based, or asset performance management platforms preferred.
  • Background in utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems, performance engineering, or technical asset management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols and data acquisition systems.

This is a great opportunity for a technically advanced professional to deepen impact in a large-scale renewable portfolio while improving data accuracy, operational transparency, and performance.
