Requisition

Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Structural Engineer for our Austin, TX office.

• Determining client requirements and developing reports, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents.
• Visiting construction sites to monitor progress.
• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and design schedules for projects.
• Evaluating the need for design changes and communicating appropriate recommendations to project manager or clients.
• Serving as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinating technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Coordinating the structural work required to complete projects with designers, graphics, other disciplines, and project managers while maintaining schedules and budgets.
• Consulting with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions.
• Compensated overtime to fit project need and team workload.

• Experience in the design of substation structures in accordance with design codes and standards published by IEEE, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
• Experience as structural lead on multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficient in concrete and structural steel design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.
• Software: RISA or STAADPro, Mathcad, LPILE or MFAD (optional).
• PE License or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

• Experience with substation structures/foundations and transmission foundations.

$94,100 - $120,875 a year
