- Lead bring‑up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for state‑of‑the‑art satellite communications.
- Architect, document, and execute 3
GPP‑based testing for satellite‑to‑ground networks; work with vendors to define equipment requirements and adapt test plans based on delivered hardware/software. - Collaborate across PHY algorithms, RF design, digital beamforming, antenna, MAC, and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and best‑in‑class wireless performance.
- Understand and test Doppler pre/post‑compensation techniques with CFO/SFO in LEO communication systems; utilize channel emulators where applicable.
- Trade link budget and verify RF line‑up for payloads in RF and IF configurations.
- Characterize performance, analyze data, root‑cause system‑level issues, and ensure high product quality.
- Take responsibility for power, clock, RF, air, and network debugging in laboratory environments.
- Contribute development‑test bring‑up procedures with Linux, Python, bash scripting, etc.
- Use wireless synchronization, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers to verify time/frequency requirements.
- Apply knowledge of OFDM and MIMO‑based wireless systems across both baseband and RF domains.
- Engage in scripting to modify SW/HW pieces incrementally and evaluate effects on payload using equipment such as Specan, siggen, scope, frequency counter, attenuators.
- Work cross‑functionally with RF, ASIC, SW, Comsys, Testbed teams, and vendors to advance testing and integration.
