Validation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in hardware validation and system architecture, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Validation Department supporting server platform testing and debugging. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong debugging mindset, passion for hardware/system architecture, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Validation Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?

• Perform hardware and software validation testing on server platforms
• Build, configure, and bring up systems including CPUs and memory modules
• Install, swap, and validate CPUs, memory (DIMMs), and system components
• Debug and analyze hardware/software issues, logs, and root causes
• Support hardware debugging and failure analysis in a lab environment using modern tools and AI-assisted methods

What's Needed?

• AAS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (required)
• 0-5 years of experience in hardware validation or lab environments
• Familiarity with PC/server hardware and system architecture
• Experience or exposure to Windows and Linux OS installation and configuration
• Basic knowledge of Python scripting or automation tools
