Purpose
The Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer develops complex and novel mechanical systems related to advanced 3D HI processes.
Responsibilities
* Manages research projects, including defining and tracking project goals and milestones and supervising of the work of research team members.
* Designs, fabricates, assembles and tests equipment systems.
* Researches and coordinates the procurement of various equipment and sub-systems.
* Compiles reports on costs and inventory levels.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, precision systems engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
* Two years' experience in nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, roll-to-roll systems development.
* Goal-oriented and ability to prioritize and multitask.
* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
