Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater:
You will manage the engineering component of multiple design, build and collaboration delivery projects including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon-neutral solutions. You will have the opportunity to lead and influence project execution across multiple disciplines.
- Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high-profile municipal projects.
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.
- Manage budgets, scheduling, and client/project management communications in support of a project.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution- Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects
- Assist in researching equipment and material recommendations
- Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
- Lead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
- Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects
- Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
- Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
- Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision
- Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables
- Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects
- Drive solutions to achieve project goals
- Review lower-level engineering work or assignments
- Mentoring and performance management of assigned personnel
- PE license
- Previous engineering consulting experience
- Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansion projects
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Pre-employment onboarding requirements as applicable (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records, per laws)
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days
- Standard office/field duties including sitting/standing/computer use
- Travel to client sites
