WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING

At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next‑generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you’ll discover the real differentiator is our culture.

We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond.

THE ROLE

As an Engineering Program Manager within the Instinct Product Engineering team, you will play a critical role in bringing AMD’s next‑generation accelerator products from early planning through high‑volume manufacturing. The team ensures compatibility, compliance, and robust test coverage by designing and correlating product‑specific test hardware, software, and diagnostics across lab, manufacturing, and customer environments. In this role, you will work cross‑functionally with global engineering, operations, and business teams to drive execution, remove blockers, and ensure products meet quality, schedule, and customer expectations.

THE

PERSON

You are a collaborative, results‑driven program manager with a passion for product development engineering. You thrive in fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environments and are comfortable navigating technical discussions, even outside your core expertise. You bring a strong sense of ownership, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, and are motivated to help teams overcome challenges to deliver successful products to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive program schedules, logistics, and execution for Instinct accelerator product engineering initiatives
  • Define and manage key product deliverables while coordinating cross‑functional activities across engineering, operations, and business teams
  • Lead pre‑silicon planning and readiness activities to ensure smooth downstream execution
  • Drive customer sample execution and high‑volume manufacturing readiness following silicon availability
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and executive stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Asia‑based engineering and operations teams within the Product Engineering organization
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams including Design, Supply Chain, Business, and Customer Engineering
  • Own a specific project or a defined portion of a larger program, contributing to continuous process and execution improvements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience supporting semiconductor product development, ideally within GPU or accelerator programs
  • Program or project management experience in complex, cross‑functional engineering environments
  • Experience using standard Microsoft tools (e.g., Office, Windows OS) to manage schedules, track deliverables, and report status
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across geographically distributed teams
  • Experience presenting program status and recommendations to senior or director‑level leadership
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
