We invite you to join our Environment and Health department as our new Principal and work with our team to close the gap to a sustainable future.
Your new roleAs our new Principal, you will support clients with a wide range of environmental issues, bringing your Environmental Consulting and Business Development skills to create innovative and sustainable solutions.
We are seeking a senior site solutions professional with existing client relationships. The successful candidate is a trusted advisor to clients, responsible for providing technical and business guidance, working with top talent in site investigation and remediation programs for contaminated media, real estate and brownfield redevelopment, hazardous waste sites, and compliance issues. As a seller‑doer, the successful candidate must generate and maintain a volume of business sufficient to support the growth of the firm.
Principals typically generate enough business to support 2‑3 full‑time staff and guide clients through the entire project life cycle.
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities and building client relationships;
- Managing projects, clients, staff, and navigating regulatory agency relations;
- Critically and strategically reviewing and interpreting project needs, applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations, and communicating findings;
- Project delivery, which may require site visits, preparation and senior review of project deliverables; and
- Serving as a role model to ensure the health, safety and security of our people.
You will work with a creative group, ranging from entry‑level team members to seasoned experts, and engage in continual learning through coaching, mentoring, and on‑the‑job tasks.
About youQualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success include:
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical preferred) or science‑related field (Geology or Earth Science preferred), or related environmental science discipline;
- 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting focusing on site investigation and remediation;
- A successful track record of business development;
- Relevant professional licenses and/or certifications.
