  • Develop and refine DSP algorithms for equalization, error correction, CDR, and signal optimization.
  • Partner with hardware, firmware, and chip design teams to optimize for performance, power, and area.
  • Perform system-level modeling and simulations to validate algorithms and architectures.
  • Collaborate with photonics and RF teams for seamless DSP–optical front-end integration.
  • Establish performance metrics, validation methodologies, and compliance with optical standards.
  • Engage with customers and industry partners to align DSP innovations with market needs.
  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in DSP, optics, semiconductors, and cloud infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in DSP algorithm development, system architecture, and ASIC design for optical communications.
  • Expertise in digital signal processing, communication theory, and error correction codes.
  • Hands‑on experience with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ for DSP simulations and algorithm development.
  • Strong knowledge of ASIC design and system‑on‑chip integration.
  • Familiarity with OIF standards, high‑speed Ser Des, ADC/DAC interfaces, mixed‑signal design.
  • Deep understanding of optical modulation techniques and coherent transmission systems.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX (no remote option).
Preferred Skills
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with photonic ICs and DSP co‑design.
  • Background in real‑time embedded DSP implementations.
  • Proven record of delivering DSP architectures in commercial optical communication products.
