Summer Intern - Functional Safety Intern - AI Application to FuSa Requirements
The selected candidate will join a focused engineering team dedicated to the evolution of the Functional Safety Program role involves the application of an AI agent to the development and verification of requirements written to support Functional Safety Products.
Responsibilities- You will work with Skyworks Functional Safety Experts, as well as a Skyworks AI scientist to develop an agent that generates compliant requirements.
- You will exploit existing requirement development processes, and apply existing guidelines and standards to develop the agent.
- Using known good and known bad results you will program the agent.
- Time permitting, you will work under the guidance of a knowledgeable engineer to the development of an API, allowing the agent to work directly in our requirement management tool.
- You will provide a summary report of results.
Shall be enrolled in one of the following degrees
- Electrical Engineering
- System Engineering
- Functional Safety Engineering
All interested candidates must be able to demonstrate a general knowledge of AI, and how agents are applied
Desired Experience and Skills- Python scripting is a plus
- AI minor is a plus
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
