JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products.

The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume:

Setup power and performance measurement platforms, execute power and performance test plans, support lab debug activities.

EXPERIENCE AND

EDUCATION:

+ Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

+ 8-10 years of relevant work experience, Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS.

+ Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset.

+ Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills:

+ Proficient in Linux (preferably Debian/Ubuntu) - certifications are a plus o Knows how to install/configure Linux o Understands how to troubleshoot system logs o Scripting

+ Support experience

Duties:

+ Become expert in all things Halo Box-Linux

+ Monitor inbox/ticket system

+ Reproduce issues on lab devices

+ Generate weekly reports

+ Develop collateral about common issues and issue trends
