The Project Scheduler role will be full-time and report to the Senior Scheduler. The Project Scheduler will primarily be responsible for performing Primavera P6 scheduling duties, which require the selection and application of sequencing, task duration assessment, resource loading, monitoring, and updating the P6 schedules. The Project scheduler will perform a variety of reporting, presentation, and process responsibilities. Must be familiar with technical scope and knowledge of project management.

They will work on multiple project types that require complex interactions between project managers, owners, partners and subcontractors. The Project Scheduler will work closely with the project teams to ensures time-efficient and cost-effective project execution. They will also work with the project teams in-house or in the field to execute the project plan and critical path methodology (CPM) on schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor construction progress for project performance to develop and distribute reports.
  • Perform schedule audits in the field, confirming project progress, sequencing, and durations.
  • Travel to construction sites to collect data from a variety of sources to ensure each portion of each project schedule is properly updated and progressed.
  • Assemble scheduling data from a variety of sources including engineering, vendors/suppliers, subcontractors, or others.
  • Provide scheduling, manpower, variance, and progress measurement reports in support of weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Develop weekly reports using various tools such as Procore, P6 project meeting notes, and safety database information.
  • Design and create presentations and job aid documents as needed.
  • Work with project PMs and Superintendents to update project logic to align with the current plan.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills in Construction Planning.
  • Beginner knowledge and skills using Microsoft Project.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting contract documents.
  • Must have travel flexibility, personal mobility/on-site engagement with business/field.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to coordinate meetings with multiple teams to adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills.
  • Driven, ambitious, dependable, initiative-taker, and able to resolve issues.
  • Strong Computer Skills and ability to learn fast and adapt to new technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience with Procore and Master Format.
  • Working knowledge of construction means and methods.
  • Ability to walk a project to collect progress, validate status, and incorporate changes into monthly schedule updates.
  • Familiarity with project resources loading and cost.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated prior work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Primavera P6 Application
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction management or planning management.
Physical Requirements
  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Required to spend time on the construction site and must be able to walk and climb in various outdoor conditions and safely navigate the construction site.
  • May be required to lift, carry, and move up to twenty pounds.
