My client – a leading engineering organization supporting large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing projects – is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team working on a major facility project near Austin, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with experience designing complex industrial buildings, large-span structures, and heavy-load environments to work on a high-profile project alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural analysis and design across steel and reinforced concrete structures, with exposure to industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or other complex architectural spaces.
The Structural Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of professional structural design experience.
- Proficiency with structural analysis/design software.
- Experience working within Revit and AutoCAD environments.
- Knowledge of U.S. building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
- Experience designing vibration-sensitive structures, heavy equipment foundations, or industrial slabs is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
- Performing structural analysis and design for large industrial facilities, including steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Producing and reviewing structural drawings, specifications, and calculation packages.
- Working closely with Architectural, MEP, and Process Engineering teams to develop optimized structural solutions.
- Supporting designs involving heavy equipment loads, vibration control, and complex building requirements.
- Carrying out QA/QC reviews and structural assessments throughout project phases.
- Ensuring designs meet relevant codes, standards, and Texas regulations.
