- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- PE License, RA License, Chartered Engineer License or equivalent technical professional license or certification.
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical fields.
- Experience managing advanced manufacturing and data center design.
- Experience with data center specific or equivalent equipment/environments, including switch gear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, building controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and a working understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, with an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager, Advanced Manufacturing and Data Center Design, you have experience in the area of complex, multi-disciplinary, and geographically dispersed advanced manufacturing and data center design, development, construction and commissioning projects. You will provide project management of large-scale advanced manufacturing, data centers, networking, AC power distribution/conversion and cooling methods at multiple scales. You will manage complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter-dependencies.
You will have extensive experience managing large-scale technical projects in a changing industry, being able to tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem solving leadership with limited oversight.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities- Manage advanced manufacturing and data center design projects from detailed design through construction administration and finally closeout and handover to operations.
- Be responsible for gathering internal requirements, generating potential options, presenting to the leadership team, and delivering design solutions that satisfy customers needs.
- Create and manage strategies for the execution of designs that leverage a standard baseline plan of record.
- Overcome critical challenges while maintaining adherence to project timelines, quality and costs, and managing a cross functional set of stakeholders.
- Be responsible for managing strategy for projects that require deviation from the baseline design due to environmental, code or other aspects that require localization.
