I'm partnering with a growing civil engineering firm in Austin, TX that's looking to add a Civil Engineering EIT – Land Development Design to its team.
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer-In-Training who wants to develop their skills in land development, site design, drainage/stormwater systems, and public infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers and having the opportunity to take ownership of projects.
What you'll be working on:- Assist with land development and civil site design projects.
- Prepare construction plans, exhibits, and technical design documents.
- Perform grading, utility, and site layout design.
- Support drainage, stormwater, and water quality design efforts.
- Develop construction documents using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, municipalities, and internal teams.
- Support municipal, transportation, and private development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 1–5+ years of civil engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with Civil 3D and construction plan production.
- Interest in land development, site design, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
