Mechanical Drafter/Designer I

Location:

Austin, Texas

• Utilize Solidworks Professional to produce 3D models, drawings and fabrication packages for custom RF instruments, including BOMs.
• Work with each project team in understanding and implementing packaging specifications.
• Support Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing teams as requested.

• Minimum 2 years experience with Solidworks 3‑D or Auto Desk Inventor Design Software.
• At least 1 year Mechanical Engineering/Technical study in an accredited program or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of machine shop best‑practices.
• Technical training in RF preferred, but not required.
• Skills in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of machine shop manufacturing and related assembly processes.
• Self‑motivated, multitasking, detail‑oriented.
• Prioritization skills and ability to thrive in high‑pressure situations.
• Logical thinker, good team player, and readiness to tackle customer challenges.
• Strong ethical standards.
